This Blue Jadeite charm bead has been individually handmade in Wales using genuine natural Jadeite and finished with a 925 sterling silver core.

Jadeite is one of the two minerals recognised as true jade, alongside nephrite. It is highly valued for its toughness, durability and beautiful range of natural colours. Blue Jadeite is particularly appreciated for its calming blue tones and rarity compared with more commonly seen green varieties.

About Jadeite

Jadeite is a member of the pyroxene mineral family and is one of the two gemstones commonly known as jade. High-quality Jadeite has historically been highly prized, particularly in China where fine jade has been valued for centuries.

Although green is the most famous jade colour, Jadeite can naturally occur in a wide range of colours including lavender, white, yellow, black and blue.

Caring For Your Blue Jadeite Bead

Jadeite is a durable gemstone, however care should still be taken to avoid harsh chemicals, extreme temperature changes and unnecessary impacts.

Clean gently using a soft cloth and mild water if required. The sterling silver core can be polished using a suitable silver polishing cloth.
