Every Wolf Beads charm bead is finished with a solid 925 sterling silver core. While it may appear to be a small part of the bead, the core plays an important role in both the appearance and long-term durability of your jewellery.

We believe that this often overlooked part of the bead is just as important as the material the bead is made from.

What Is Sterling Silver?

Sterling silver is an alloy containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. This combination provides the beautiful appearance of silver while making it much stronger than pure silver alone.

The term "925" refers to this silver content and is recognised worldwide as the standard for sterling silver jewellery.

Why Not Pure Silver?

Pure silver is relatively soft and can deform more easily during everyday wear. Sterling silver offers greater strength while retaining the attractive appearance that has made silver one of the world's most popular jewellery metals.

Once each bead has been shaped and polished, we carefully fit the sterling silver core before carrying out a final inspection.
